Adam is an active member and former conference committee chair of the International Medical Graduate Taskforce (IMGT), the physician immigration bar organization. He is active in NAFSA: Association of International Educators as a member of the International Student and Scholar Regulatory Practice Committee (ISS RP) as well as NAFSA’s Trainer Corps. Adam is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Media Advocacy Committee and, in that role, serves as an AILA national spokesperson. He is a past member of AILA's Client Practice Resources Committee and Board of Publications. Mr. Cohen is a past Board Member of the Federal Bar Association Memphis Mid-South Chapter and a member of the Florida Bar.
Adam received his law degree from the University of Florida. Prior to joining Siskind Susser, he served for several years as a Judicial Law Clerk and Attorney Advisor for the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
