Bio
Louise Doherty is a Lecturer in youth and community work at Goldsmiths University teaching on a combined MA programme with three pathways- MA Applied Anthropology, Community and Youth Work / Community Development / Community Arts, and Research Associate at King’s College London, working on an ESRC funded project, ‘Rethinking impact, evaluation and accountability in youth work’. Louise’s academic work draws on over twenty years of professional experience as a youth worker and community arts educator in a wide variety of roles and her current research interests centre on young people, social justice, and the value of youth work.
