Bio
Juan Archila is director of facilities and capital planning for the College of Sciences at Georgia Tech. Juan is involved in various groups on campus in including as chair of the HOLA Employee Resource Group (Hispanics or Latinos and Allies), member of the Chemical & Environmental Safety Committee (CESC), member of the Georgia Tech Staff Council, and a member of a working group of the current Georgia Tech Strategic Plan. He is also an instructor for a class on equity and sustainability in the built environment. Juan’s community service efforts include being a current board member of the Georgia chapter of I2SL (International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories) and a former board member Facilities committee chair at the GLOBE Academy, a dual-language immersion charter school in the Dekalb County (GA) School District (2014-2019).
