Kevin Bird is a former Assistant-Superintendent and Principal committed to helping teachers reach vulnerable students and helping school districts build better systems for supporting learning. Kevin, along with co-author Kirk Savage, speaks regularly on teaching and learning practices, especially in the areas of literacy and numeracy. A former water-ski coach, Kevin spends his leisure time playing hockey, taking care of his wife's horses, mountain biking with his son, and driving his daughter to her gymnastics class.
