Ian has over thirty years senior executive experience within the vehicle leasing and automotive sector. He was formerly Fleet Director at Volkswagen Financial Services where he oversaw the company’s growth to reach number two position in the FN50 largest UK contract hire companies. Previously he was Managing Director at Eurotax Glass’s and CEO of ING Car lease UK where he lead a six fold increase in business and ultimate sale to Alphabet and remained as post sale merger Director. His earlier career was with LeasePlan International NV and LeasePlan UK.
Ian was a board member of the BVRLA and served as Chairman of its Leasing and Fleet Management committee on two occasions.
Ian has recently formed a consulting company supporting sector investors and senior managers in business growth and organisational change.
