Kevin Smith teaches math education, STEM, and educational technology courses in the College of Education at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. He is also the Program Coordinator of our Masters of Science in Educational Technology program. Prior to being a faculty member at DSU, he was a Learning Technologist and Instructional Designer for the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the Council for Economic Education. Kevin began his career as a high school math teacher in Columbus, Nebraska. Kevin holds a doctorate in Instructional Design & Technology from the University of Memphis, a master's degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Nebraska, and a bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from Dakota State University.
