Mel has been an HIV and Infectious Diseases pharmacist for nearly 30 years. She is also a member of the HIVPA expert panel. Over the years, Mel has seen many changes, with the advent of effective antiretroviral therapy and consequent move from caring for very sick HIV+ve inpatients to dealing with mostly well outpatients, so has plenty of experience of adapting the pharmacy service to changing times.
