Dr. Gupta earned a PhD degree in Chemistry from Punjab University India and then spent more than 3 years as Post-Doctoral fellow at Uppsala University Sweden with Prof. Lars Engman researching organo-chalcogen free-radical heterocyclic synthesis and reaction mechanisms. Later Dr. Gupta spent about 2 years at Melbourne University Australia continuing his work on free-radical synthesis.
He has over 20 years of experience in developing and using microwave synthesis, automated flash chromatography, evaporation, sample prep, mass spec, LC and ICPMS technologies. He has published more than 13 research publications and a book chapter. He specializes in free radical organic synthesis, microwave synthesis, automated purification and characterization of small molecules.
