Gregory Burris is the Director of Aviation for the Detroit-based Masco Corporation, a
manufacturer of home improvement products. He joined Masco in 2006 initially flying for
Merillat Industries in Adrian, Michigan, and then moved to the company’s Detroit
operations in 2010. Prior to his promotion to Director, he served as Captain and Safety
Officer.
An Airline Transport Pilot with several type ratings and 10,500 flight hours, Gregory has
flown for several commercial carriers, including: Mesaba, Northwest and National
Airlines. He started his career at Allied Signal Engines in Phoenix, Arizona, where he
worked as a Laboratory Engineer upon earning his BS in Aeronautical Engineering
Technology from Arizona State University.
