Kathleen Flint Ehm, Ph.D., is assistant dean for graduate and postdoctoral initiatives in the Graduate School at Stony Brook University, where she also directs the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs. Ehm has over fifteen years’ experience in postdoctoral policy and professional development for doctorates. Before coming to Stony Brook, she spent six years as project manager for grant-funded initiatives at the NPA. Ehm is lead author of the “NPA’s Responsible Conduct of Research Toolkit” and “From Ph.D. to Professoriate: The Role of the Institution in Fostering the Advancement of Postdoc Women.” She holds a doctorate in astronomy and astrophysics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor of Science in math and astronomy from the University of Arizona.
