Mr. Petrov's experience in the energy sector includes, inter alia: advising on export and import of natural gas and electricity; transit and unbundling matters, advising foreign investors with respect to a legal regime for exploration and production of oil and gas in Ukraine, including licensing options for investment (JAAs, PSAs), etc.; participation in negotiation process regarding drafting and execution of Joint Operation Agreements and Production Sharing Agreements; advising clients on more than 50 renewable energy projects in Ukraine; drafting legislation aiming implementation of the Third Energy Package.
Yaroslav is a member of the roster of experts of Energy Community, co-chair of the American Chamber of Commerce Renewable Energy Committee (2020-present).
