Peter Dodgion serves as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works (USACE CW) Asset Management Program Manager. In his role, he coordinates the systematic management of physical assets: asset performance, risk, and investments over the life cycle. Specifically, he sustains the life-cycle portfolio management systems used in the Civil Works asset management system. He serves as the primary contact for external stakeholders reviewing or exploring USACE CW portfolio management practices, including capital investment planning, maintenance management, asset performance measurements, and others. He facilitates teams who develop methods and tools to mature these portfolio management systems in alignment with international standards, primarily ISO 55000, including value models, risk assessment tools, maintenance standards, organizational structure and cultural changes, cross-functional/cross-business line decision support tools, asset data integration, and others.
Peter holds a BS in Environmental Science and focuses continued studies on risk management. He is a retired Navy Senior Chief Seabees and received a graduate certificate degree from the University of Notre Dame, Maryland in Risk Analysis.
