Bio
She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1992 and her J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University in 1995. After law school, she clerked for Judge Herschel Franks on the Tennessee Court of Appeals and then worked for an insurance defense firm. She has been providing client advice and litigating on behalf of Metro for 20 years. Lora was elected in 2019 to the NBA Board of Directors. She and her husband, Brook Fox, teach Land Use at Belmont School of Law. She is the co-founder and President of the non-profit Friends of Green Hills Park and enjoys vigorous athletic pursuits, including chasing her three children.
