Phrixos Papachristidis is the Chief Executive Officer of Hellespont, a family-owned shipping company that has been in operation for over 75 years. The company was founded by his grandfather, in 1946 in Montreal, Canada initially operating Canadian-flagged ships. The Group later owned, managed and operated a diverse fleet of international trading tankers, bulk carriers from London, Athens & Hamburg. Apart from his responsibilities as CEO, Phrixos Papachristidis is responsible for Business Development and overseeing management of the current fleet. Phrixos previously worked for Poten & Partners in New York after graduating from New York University in 2004 with a B.A. in History.
