Rubaiyyaat Aakbar is an IT professional with 16 years of diversified experience in information security governance, application security development lifecycle, business-focused security assessment and information risk management, 3rd party security risk management, IT project management and innovative employee awareness program design. He has spent 10 years in HSBC and then over 2 years with a silicon valley based healthcare start-up before joining DocDoc. Currently, he is driving the cybersecurity and privacy compliance program with DocDoc covering operations across multiple countries in Asia. Rubai holds professional certifications like CISSP, PMP, ITIL Expert, CIPP/A, and ISMS. In the past, Rubaiyyaat has worked in a project that used Google Glass for providing healthcare services and familiar with ethics dilemma and cybercrime involving IoT that may impact patients' lives.
