Mother, grandmother, educator, mentor, entrepreneur, and world traveler Sharon Callico grew up on Chicago’s west side. She was always curious as a young person, which helped her to graduate from high school with honors, earn a scholarship to college, and be the first member in her family to complete college. Sharon has worked in several careers, but education is her passion. Sharon currently teaches 8th grade ELA at LEARN Hunter Perkins.
