Jennifer graduated college with honors, and a concentration in graphic design and studio art. After college, she launched a small bespoke invitation company, which brought her into the events world. After moving from Philadelphia to Florida – she found herself emersed in the corporate world, planning board meetings and tradeshows all over the state. In doing so, Jennifer realized her love for weddings and private events. After leaving the corporate world – she managed several events based companies. From florals to rentals to launching a venue – Jennifer has had her hands in all aspects of the event industry. This led her to develop her skills and connections in the planning community and in 2016 she launched Jennifer Matteo Event Planning. Meant to be a small boutique company, JMEP quickly grew to one of the most successful events companies in Florida. Currently, Jennifer has a team of 12 planners and an amazing team of in office coordinators to assist in running each of the over 120 events they produce each year. With a focus on the details, and an artistic and styled approach to planning – JMEP is a leader in the field of inventive and creative décor and a flair for the unexpected!
