Sean Jordan joined MassMutual in 2004. As the leader of the Emerging Client Management group, Sean is accountable for the lifecycle of the customer experience leading the new business, account management and client engagement management teams. He also oversees the Participant Transition Services Team. Sean’s group proactively engages, educates and ultimately enables plan participants, fostering better savings and investing behaviors and delivering superior retirement outcomes.
Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Jordan worked for the MMFG Chief Financial Officer as a consultant for MassMutual’s Capital Markets Group. In that capacity, he was responsible for enterprise financial analysis, capital forecast modeling, and rating agency support.
Prior to joining MassMutual, Mr. Jordan was a commissioned officer in the Unites States Navy. Mr. Jordan served ten years as a naval aviator, flying the EA-6B ‘Prowler’ aircraft, assigned to electronic Attack Squadron 130 (VAQ-130). He made two deployments to the Arabian Gulf aboard USS ENTERPRISE and USS HARRY S. TRUMAN. He is a veteran of more than 30 combat missions over Iraq and completed 350 carrier landings. His personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal with combat “V” device, the Strike Flight Air Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal.
Mr. Jordan holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from Tulane University. He also holds FINRA Series 6 and 26 registrations.
He resides with his wife and four children in East Longmeadow, MA.
