Throughout my career, I have become increasingly focused on the intersection between math and equity. After spending 5 years at the district office overseeing our district's Instructional Technology program, I returned to the classroom last year to more deeply explore this synergy. I am constantly thinking about how to give voice and agency to every single student I teach. This is my 21st year in public school education and I currently teach 8th grade in Berkeley, CA. I am a Desmos Fellow, a Math for America Master Teacher and am Nationally Board Certified.
