PhD Professor in Strategy & Fashion Management and Sustainable fashion expert at United Nations
Bio
With a PhD, Francesca teaches at Bocconi University and SDA Bocconi School of Management. She is Director of the Master in Fashion Direction: Brand & Business Management and the New Sustainable Fashion short course at Milano Fashion Institute (inter-university consortium among Bocconi University, Cattolica University and Polythecnic of Milan).
She is Co-author of "L'Impresa Moda Responsabile" (Egea, 2013), “The Responsible Fashion Company” (Greenleaf Publishing - Routledge, 2014), and Author of “Fashion Industry 2030” (Egea, 2019).
Francesca consults companies in the Fashion and Luxury industries on the topics of brand management, sustainability, digital strategies and business model innovation.
She is often invited as speaker at international forums and interviewed by Italian TV channels such as RAI, LA7, Canale 5, SKY and some international channels. She is currently an Expert at the UN for the topic of Transparency and Traceability in Garment and Footwear.
In 2010, she created Bio-Fashion (http://bio-fashion.blogspot.com) with the objective of raising awareness on Sustainability in Fashion and Luxury.
In 2019 she created the instagram page @fashionindustry2030 to open a discussion with opinion leaders and experts about the future of fashion.
