For the past 16 of his 27 years at Caterpillar, Darrin has worked to incorporate emerging energy technologies into the Caterpillar power systems portfolio – focusing on photovoltaics, wind turbines, energy storage, power electronics, fuel cells, and remote monitoring and controls – alongside traditional technologies such as diesel- and gas-fueled generator sets. Darrin also ran a green power plant at our tech center and led an engine reliability research team during his tenure at Caterpillar.
