A Consultant Paediatrician with a specialist interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. In the past as chair of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health Endocrinology CSAC he has been responsible for training and curriculum development in the UK. He has contributed as a member of the Association of Children’s Diabetes Clinicians (ACDC) to developing a number of diabetes clinical guidelines most recently leading on guidelines for Continuous Glucose monitoring in the UK. His research interests are primarily in the field of obesity, weight management and insulin resistance.
