Kanika has been with RBC for 8 years and presently leads the Data Science and Automation portfolio within Internal Audit. Kanika is responsible for the data science and automation initiatives from ideation to production across the entire audit life cycle - planning, execution and planning. Leveraging leading edge technologies and capabilities, Kanika works with teams across Internal Audit to understand the changing business environment, discover new growth opportunities and determine where business improvements can be made. Her team uses machine learning and statistical modeling techniques and robotic process automation to deliver innovative, high-quality data products with measurable business value. Previous to RBC Internal Audit, Kanika held audit roles within the External Audit firms where she gained experience in the consumer and industrial products Industry and Financial Institutions Industry. Kanika is a CA, CPA by designation and earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from University of Guelph.
