Beth has worked for the NHS for 17 years. She is a DSN in Southampton specialising in the care of type 1 diabetes and has a special love for all things young adults living with diabetes. She also loves all things diabetes technology. Beth is in year two of her MSc Diabetes Practice at Swansea University and is also on the editorial board for the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation (DRWF). Beth is a a well known national diabetes speaker and one of the creators of the Diabetes 101 twitter team. She is also passionate about the use of social media in nursing and in particular diabetes. She is the co-chair of the DSN Forum alongside Amanda Epps. They won QiC Diabetes Professional of the Year in 2018.
