Sam founded the fully EV last-mile logistics company Gnewt in 2009 which was subsequently acquired by Menzies Distribution Ltd. During his tenure, he created the UK’s largest fully EV commercial fleet, privately-owned smart charging infrastructure system and fully operational V2G network. Sam was a 2015 winner at the Great British Entrepreneurs Awards and in 2020, he was voted #36 in the greenfleet.net top 100 Most Influential in Low Carbon Fleets.
