Olu Delano (referred to as Olu D) joined Stanbic IBTC in 2009 as the pioneer leader of the Leveraged & Acquisition Finance Team within the Bank’s Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIB) with a mandate to grow the Bank’s CIB Long Term Debt Book in a sustainable way. He subsequently moved to Client Coverage as a Sector Head to lead the Consumer Sector Relationship Team in 2011 where his team managed Client Relationships – primarily Global Multinationals as well as deliver Universal Banking Solutions to companies operating in Agribusiness, Consumer Packaged Goods & Retail.

Today, Olu D holds a senior management role leading a team of Relationship Management professionals that manage the bank’s CIB clients, operating within six (6) Core Sectors

Oganizations where Olu D has worked in the past include: NatWest Markets London; Dana Commercial Credit Corp, Canada. He held Senior Vice President roles within the following organizations: Wachovia Bank, Canada; Bank of Montreal, Canada. His sectors experience includes: Oil & Gas; Consumer Sector, Telecoms Media & Technology; Diversified & Industrials, Power & Infrastructure and Financial Institutions. Olu D has a degree in Accounting & Finance as well as an MBA in Financial Management – both from University of Hull, U.K
