Bio
Peter Pitts is President of the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest. A former member of the United States Senior Executive Service, Peter was FDA’s Associate Commissioner for External Relations, serving as senior communications and policy adviser to the Commissioner. He is a Visiting Professor at Université de Paris Descartes Medical School and President of the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest. Pitts is a member of the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences Expert Working Group to help advance patient involvement in the development and safe use of medicines.
