Goran Stojkovski is a graduate of North Macedonia’s National Military Academy and had served in Army Special Forces / Counterterrorism Units between 1996 and 2004.
With establishing of Integrated Border Management System, he joins the Border Police and Migrations Service in 2004, and up to 2012 he is assigned to a number of managerial positions, with special focus on operational planning, intelligence and investigations, risk analysis, anti-corruption and international cooperation.
Since 2012 he joined OSCE and works on different positions, including the Head of Border management Unit and Head of Politico Military Department of the OSCE Office in Tajikistan, followed by the position of Customs and Border Issues Adviser at the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna since 2016, where he is providing expert and technical advices on border and customs issues to the Secretary General, Chairmanship, and Delegations. He supports the OSCE Participating States and Field Operations through assessments, development and implementation of number of capacity building national and regional projects.
He holds a Master Level Degree in Border Security and Management and his international experience includes operational engagements in South-Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and Africa.
