Andreas Schroeder

Head of Gas Analytics

As Head of Gas Analytics, Andreas Schroeder is responsible for ICIS’s data and forecasting model portfolio in gas and LNG markets. In his team management role Andreas draws upon his experience in leading large data and energy modelling projects over several years. Andreas builds on a long-standing experience in energy economics with a focus on market analysis of traded energy commodities. Andreas joined ICIS in 2020 and has worked in the energy field for more than a decade. Given his professional activities in the private sector (ICIS, E.ON/Uniper, Vattenfall) and the public sector (International Energy Agency / OECD, DIW Berlin, EU Commission), Andreas' network stretches broadly across the whole energy sector. Andreas defended his PhD Thesis on power markets in 2013 at DIW / TU Berlin, supervised by Prof. von Hirschhausen and Prof. Kemfert.
