Tom Veryzer

Through explorations in neuroscience, philosophy, clowning and stand-up comedy, Tom has continually strived to develop his approach to TEFL in new and surprising ways. Leading a workshop on student engagement at IATEFL in 2018, Tom went on to become one of the first to teach English in Virtual Reality in 2020. In 2022 he performed his second solo comedy show Happified in the Brighton Fringe Festival and now delivers lectures on ‘the science of happiness’ alongside public speaking and performance skills workshops for all ages in Brighton (UK) and beyond.
