María Antonia López is Head of the Internal Dosimetry Group, Radiation Dosimetry Unit at CIEMAT (Madrid, Spain). Her research topic is internal dosimetry, focusing in occupational exposures and radiological and emergency situations. She was part of EURADOS Council in 2008-2020, and member of EURADOS WG7 since the beginning in 2008, being WG7 coordinator in 2008-2018. Currently she is leading the EURADOS TG "Internal Dosimetry for Emergency" within WG7. She is member of ICRP Committee2 and of ICRP Task Group 112 on Emergency Dosimetry. She is EURADOS liaison person with ISO TC 85/SC2, being member of ISO WG13 and WG 25. She is also involved in the WHO/REMPAN network dealing with internal dosimetry and medical surveillance in case of radiological and nuclear emergencies.
