Bio
Peter has extensive experience as a crisis and business resilience exercise facilitator for UK and global companies, who has been involved in many large-scale crises. He was the chair for ten years of the World Conference on Disaster Management and is a frequent expert speaker for the BBC and other international media on crisis and emergency issues. He is an author of the British Standard on Crisis Management and earlier Government issued guide ‘Preventing Chaos in a Crisis’.
Drawing on his many decades’ experience, Peter will examine the way all crises unfold, how to cope in a world of ‘new normal’, what could happen soon in terms of maintaining a sense of resilience and possible Government next steps. Also, the best way for employers to manage at a distance and reassure staff in order to help reduce panic and chaos.
