I started my drone business with a desire to get into an extremely promising industry...and a ton of questions. As a private pilot, I obtained my 333 exemption after months of painful research, document creation, and waiting on the FAA. I operated under the 333 until I obtained my remote pilot certification when the part 107 came out in 2016. I do many public speaking events each year to educate about the use of drones in business. I am a co-founder of UAS Professional Pilots, which helps professional drone pilots start and grow their business. I have learned a lot on my journey and have found, and created the answers to the questions I had when I started. Part of my goal in the industry is to share my experiences and information with other drone pilots to help them succeed.
