Dr Jenny Lloyd

Dr Jenny Lloyd is Assistant Professor at Durham University within the Sociology Department. Working within the Contextual Safeguarding team her research focusses on extra-familial harm to young people during adolescence. As an embedded researcher, she works within child protection services to improve responses to harm including serious youth violence, child criminal exploitation and child sexual abuse. She previously worked in the Safer young Lives research Centre at the University of Bedfordshire where her research explored harmful sexual behaviour in schools, peer-on-peer abuse and systems change in child protection.
