Amanda Posila, MPH provides leadership and expertise to the agency’s prevention and training programs. In her current role, Amanda promotes social change and justice through education, collaboration and community organizing. Amanda has over 15 years of experience advocating for survivors of domestic and sexual violence as well as engaging diverse communities in violence prevention. In addition, Amanda also leads the agency’s Training Institute that includes coordinating and facilitating Connecticut’s 40+ hour state mandated certification training that focuses on domestic and sexual violence intervention, advocacy and prevention. Amanda earned her Master in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University with a concentration is community health education and promotion.
Amanda believes that we can create inclusive and hope centered communities through self-reflection, access to meaningful conversations, collective accountability.
