Mr. Henk has worked at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute for 35 years, been a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas for 29 years, and currently serves as Program Manager of the Youth Transportation Safety Program in TTI’s Center for Transportation Safety. He is the founder of the innovative peer-to-peer teen driver safety program, Teens in the Driver Seat®. Since the deployment of this nationally-recognized, award-winning program started in Texas in 2002, teen fatalities have decreased nearly 70 percent. Mr. Henk is a nationally-Certified Peer Program Educator (CPPE).
