Joe is a research associate at Wood Mackenzie on the Solar Research team. He leads coverage of the global PV inverter and tracker industries and supports Wood Mackenzie’s solar supply chain and PV system cost models. Joe is the primary author of the global market share rankings, forecasts, and market reports for the both the PV inverter and PV tracker industries.
Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, Joe was a researcher in the energy storage and distributed energy (DER) sectors with a focus on emerging technologies and cost modelling.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in materials science and a master’s degree in energy systems engineering from the University of Michigan.
