After trying her hand at career options with math and business degrees, Pam :) returned to school to aim her career towards renewable energy engineering. She has since been working with nonprofit startup companies by Oregon Tech alumni and faculty while continuing her education. Their current project is to setup solar power for a large hospital in The Gambia, Africa, where grid power is unreliable. She has also been interning at a small battery research laboratory. With her new career path, she plans to help save the world by finding solutions for the crucial global evolution towards clean energy. When she isn’t busy with world saving endeavors, she likes to use her creativity on personal projects and play board games with her 3 sons.
