Sarah Ramsden RVN (pending NCert Dent). I am a Deputy Head Nurse in a busy 24-hour hospital, prior to this was a Head Nurse in a busy clinic. I have been in practice for nearly 7 years and have been qualified for 4 years having obtained the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. Since qualifying I have been actively learning about companion animal dentistry and have completed the Certificate in Dentistry for Veterinary Nurses through Improve International and I am part way through an Advanced Nursing Certificate in Dentistry via Myerscough. My passion for companion animal dentistry has seen me create my own online CPD for veterinary nurses focusing on the practical and legal aspects of what we are allowed to do in regards to dentistry following Schedule 3 of the Veterinary Surgeons Act. I am also the face behind ‘The Dental RVN’ on social media.
