My name is Capt. Manoj Brian Dsouza from India. At the age of 18 I joined Wilhelmsen Ship Management as a Deck Cadet. I was mostly in the tanker fleet Transpetrol TM AS. Transpetrol is a Belgian owned company, with the technical in Asker Norway and manning done by Wilhelmsen Ship Management. I grew up with the company until I was a Chief Officer. All my experiences were on Product, Crude and LPG Tankers. I was also invited to work with Transpetrol in Norway for three months as a MHSEQ superintendent. Since I had my Master Mariner's license I was of a mind set to quit sailing and work ashore. In 2022, I joined Suntech Marine in Mumbai as a Marine Superintendent. The job role was pretty interesting and exciting in fact. I worked in that role for 4 months before sailing onboard as a Captain.
