Svend Holme Sorensen holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Aalborg University, and is today the Product Manager at Denmark-based GateHouse Telecom. In this position he is responsible for a product portfolio ranging from satcom test tools to satcom waveforms and professional services on embedded software for satellite user terminals. A passion for development and validation of communication systems has driven Mr. Soerensen through more than 20 years in the mobile phone industry working for companies like Motorola, Siemens and Bosch. Prior to his current employment, Mr. Soerensen was responsible for a line of cybersecurity products in the IT services industry. With leading roles in software development, he has introduced structured testing, regression testing and conformance testing in the development process to several companies.
