Cody enjoys moving ideas and goals through the process of planning, data collection, design, construction, and finally into operations. He has worked through this process hundreds of times in roles as an engineer and builder. Seeing this process through to fruition is exciting and motivating to him. He is very comfortable working with planners and stakeholders, technical design teams, contractors, and operators to achieve complete projects that meet budget, design, and operational goals. His specialties are in water resources engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction. He is well versed and has expertise in many different design, drafting, and modeling tools for engineering designs; he is still very proficient in their use as he regularly completes his own data collection, design and construction projects in house. He has worked on a wide range of project sizes, costs and complexities in varying sectors to include: private, commercial, mining, agricultural, consulting, and municipal. He is also well-versed working through previously installed and deficient projects. This work includes research and data collection to identify errors in previous design and/or construction, as well as determining best practices and designs to remove deficient work and replace with practices that meet the original objectives.
