George Ogilvie has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry, including leadership roles at Battle North, Kirkland Lake Gold, and Rambler Metals and Mining. At Battle North, he increased the resource base from 400k to 1.3 million ounces of gold and secured over C$100m in financing, leading to its acquisition by Evolution Mining in 2021. Previously, he improved operations and facilitated acquisitions at Kirkland Lake Gold. Ogilvie holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mining and Petroleum Engineering from Strathclyde University, is a Professional Engineer, and holds a Mine Managers Certificate from South Africa. He currently serves on the board of Rupert Resources Ltd.
