Juli Shaw is the Senior Manager of Digital Strategy for Ameren Corporation. In this role she leads the development and measurement of the customer and business outcome driven Ameren Digital technology strategy, along with the Digital capital investment planning process.
St. Louis-based Ameren Corporation is the parent company of rate-regulated energy companies that serve more than 2.4 million electric and nearly 1 million natural gas customers in Illinois and Missouri. Ameren's Digital organization is leading Ameren's digital transformation to deliver a differentiated customer and co-worker experience, leveraging emerging technologies to enable the grid of the future while driving operational excellence at scale.
Since joining Ameren in 2019, Shaw has successfully stood up a new strategy function within Digital, operationalized innovative and collaborative cross-functional processes for strategic planning, implemented cascading scorecards with Key Performance Indicators, and progressed integrated long-term investment planning for better alignment to business strategy. Shaw also works directly with the Chief Digital Information Officer on the development of Digital strategy material presented to the Board of Directors and across Ameren.
Prior to joining Ameren, Shaw spent 13 years in the aerospace industry at The Boeing Company in various roles including strategic planning, international business development, project management, operations, and finance. She spent her last several years with Boeing in the Defense, Space & Security (BDS) strategy organization leading the annual strategic planning process, performing strategy portfolio and financial scenario analysis, conducting market analysis and developing go-to-market strategies. She also served as Interim Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Boeing Defense Strategy and led the annual development of strategy material presented to the Board of Directors and Executive Council by the Boeing Defense CEO.
Shaw holds a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Missouri State University. She is actively engaged with the Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation and is a STEM volunteer with a local elementary school. She resides in St. Louis with her husband.
