VP and General Counsel at Gray Analytics

Jay is the VP & General Counsel at Gray Analytics. Prior to that position, Jay was the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama. As U.S. Attorney, Town oversaw complex criminal and civil investigation, to include material support to foreign terrorist organizations, embezzlement, wire fraud, civil rights, and a multitude of violent criminal offenses. While U.S. Attorney, Jay served on several of the Attorney General's committees including the Cyber Subcommittee and he was one of five U.S. Attorneys selected to serve on the China Initiative Steering Committee. Jay, a former judge advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps, was an accomplished prosecutor in the Madison County District Attorney's Office from 2005, when he moved to Huntsville, until his confirmation as U.S. Attorney in 2017. Jay earned a bachelor's degree in Government & International Relations from the University of Notre Dame in 1995 and received his Juris Doctor from the Seton Hall University School of Law in 1998. He is a member if the State Bars of Indiana, New Jersey and Alabama, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
