After finishing my training at the Bavarian State Institute of Photography in Munich, spending some intense years assisting, and completing a year at master school with the final exam, I started my own business together with my wife Susanne Marx in Memmingen back in 1984.
Since then, I’ve been working in product, industrial, and commercial photography. I began, of course, with analog, and today I use the latest digital equipment, supporting a number of loyal clients—some of them for more than 25 years.
I’m also involved in training apprentices, serve on the master exam board, and stay active in the photographers’ guilds in Swabia and Munich, as well as in the Central Association and the PIC network.
Since 2012, I’ve also been Technical Director of Photography at NOVOFLEX, where I look after product development and testing, and represent the company at many events and workshops both in Germany and abroad.
