Dean Dittmann brings more than 25 years of information technology experience spanning small businesses, startups, global enterprises, and the public sector. He began his career as an end-user support technician and progressed through service, sales, and leadership roles, ultimately managing a technology services location in California’s Central Valley. He later joined a startup specializing in data services, telephony, and converged networks, where his work ranged from installing infrastructure to programming complex phone systems and configuring networks that supported computer-telephone integration.
Dean subsequently joined PepsiCo, where he managed enterprise-wide IT and network projects and ultimately served as a senior technician for the California region. In spring 2020, he joined the Placer County Probation Department and soon assumed a leading role in replacing the department’s case management system. As the department’s Senior Technology Specialist, Dean continues to lead technology projects, strategic initiatives, and support staff, applying his extensive enterprise IT experience to modernize systems and strengthen departmental operations.
