Mark has been a Principal Policy Adviser at the LGA since 2015 where his responsibilities include leading its policy work relating to fire and rescue services. Following the fire at Grenfell Tower in June 2017 Mark has also been responsible for the LGA’s building safety related work. This has included participating in the working groups established to inform the final recommendations in Dame Judith Hackitt’s review of building control and fire safety, and being a member of the Joint Regulators Group established by MHCLG to help implement the new building safety framework set out in Dame Judith’s final report.
