Julia Bauer is an assured Travel Retail professional with more than 12 years managing and directing operations within Imperial Brands, for both Travel Retail & domestic business. Her expertise covers key accounts, to strategy, marketing, trade marketing as well as heading up a 250 strong field team running the German domestic channel. With strong skills & knowledge, cultural understanding & an enviable proficiency in leadership all this experience combined with her international background has led Julia to what is now her eighth role for the company.
Since late 2018, Julia has been back ‘home’ in Hong Kong heading up the travel retail and export business for Imperial Brands, focusing on the development in airports and other point-of-sales connected to duty-free and export business for the Asia Pacific region. Julia forms part of the APTRA board, where she has been appointed to the role of Secretary earlier this spring.
