Tom Chandler is a Senior Lecturer at the Monash Faculty of IT’s SensiLab. His research explores the interdisciplinary applications of virtual world building, with collaborations ranging from archaeology and biology through to neuroscience, industrial design and palaeontology. His primary research endeavour is the digital reconstruction of the medieval Cambodian capital Angkor; visualisations from this project have been published with National Geographic, Google Arts & Culture, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and in the award-winning teaching resource virtualangkor.com
